Responsibilities- Investigate new technologies for next generation products
- Design display architecture and prototype, bring‑up, characterize the feature
- Establish electro‑optical performance metrics and requirements through measurement and modeling
- Propose design iteration or compensation algorithm, prototype demo presentation and documentation for cross‑functional team
- Hands‑on characterization of electro‑optical performance
- Scripting for lab‑level measurement automation
- Image processing for data analysis
- Proposing design iterations for panel or new algorithms
- Working with various vendors and cross‑functional teams to align the calibration flow and strategies
- System integration of the proposal(s)
- Prototype demo for management, presentation and documentation of the proposals for cross‑functional teams
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Lab experience, including data acquisition and measurement automation
- Master's or Ph.D. in relevant field of study
- Demonstrate engineering passion, intuition, and inquisitiveness
- Circuit simulation experience such as HSPICE or Spectre
- Python and Matlab scripting skills
Apple offers a pay range of $147,400 to $272,100, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses or commission payments and relocation assistance.
