Responsibilities
The Battery Technology Engineering Program Management team at Apple is seeking an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to develop battery solutions for various Apple products. The role involves leading a multi-functional team of engineers and managing complex projects while ensuring high-quality deliverables. The EPM will bridge gaps between engineering teams and suppliers, applying knowledge of battery cell design and manufacturing, and managing project risks effectively.
Qualifications- BS in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of industry experience in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Industry experience in taking technologies from concept definition to mass production, preferably in Battery or Consumer Electronics.
- Technical project management experience in material development, mechanical design, simulation, or manufacturing process development.
- Experience in working and managing suppliers across a diverse supply chain.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience with AI tools, modeling, and simulation work.
- Ability to travel internationally.
