Lab Technician, Test Engineer
Responsibilities
- Computer (PC & Mac) setup and maintenance (OS installation, network installations, virus protection, etc.)
- Receive and log test equipment
- Track/order/inventory of Laboratory consumables
- Procurement and inventory of electronic parts and tools
- Support test equipment calibration cycles working with equipment vendors
- RF Test execution when required during extensive testing campaigns
- Rework of small components (0201 and 01005 sizes) on printed circuit boards, soldering of connectors onto traces on circuit boards, form factor disassembly and assembly
- Working knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and TCP/IP networking
- Must have experience working in an environment that includes RF conducted and radiated testing
- Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to details and ability to multitask across various projects and tasks
- Experience procuring and keeping inventory of electronic parts, tools, and laboratory consumables
- Experience with soldering of components onto multilayer printed circuit boards
- Familiarity with RF instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Mac OS familiarity
- Experience / knowledge of current cellular technologies and test equipment
- Experience designing and assembling test fixtures and jigs
- Associate degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent
