Wireless Technologies Evaluation Engineer - 10+ Years

Description:

In this role, you will be part of Product RF Definition team and support the Evaluation and Characterization of various technologies from RF perspective.

Core Responsibilities:

• Work independently under Product RF Design Guidance on the following milestones:
• Bring up of the lab setup to demonstrate correct behavior of the setup.
• Run manual measurements in extreme cases to verify theoretical boundaries.
• Develop Matlab models emulating new technology from PHY layer perspective with impairments and their correction.
• Create "offline" SDR that can modulate/demodulate symbols of a pre-defined technology. Develop SW/code for automation and system tools.
• Work with lab equipment, components, and computing infrastructure.
• Development and execution of scripts, i.e. Python, to automate RF testing patterns and validation.
• Generation of verification/test report.
• Interface with other teams on SW/tools infrastructure and maintenance – nice to have.
• Be able to change/modify existing FW code, compile and reload – nice to have.
