Work with X-ray and CT techniques to assist in the development and failure analysis of consumer electronics
Scope:Radiography and CT scan setup and image acquisition on industrial CT scanners
Collect and process CT data for review by FA engineers and cross-functional teams
Consumer electronic system and part handling
Careful handling and organization of lab samples
Cross functional communication of data
Availability for swing/overnight shifts required. Occasional weekend coverage also expected
Education:BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
Skills and Experience:Experience working in a lab setting
Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Communicate technical information crisply
Manage multiple projects at once with shifting priorities
Well organized; must be able to keep lab samples organized
Experience with Failure Analysis techniques such as Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, XRD, LIT, SEM, EDS, FIB, FTIR, GCMS etc. is preferred
