Overview
As a member of the Manufacturing Design team at Apple, you will lead the development of quality processes for innovative parts. Your role will involve defining quality, metrology, and process requirements while contributing to the design of new manufacturing processes. You will work closely with tooling and functional teams to evaluate designs and processes, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This position requires a blend of engineering expertise and collaboration with various internal and external groups.
Qualifications- 5+ years of hands‑on manufacturing experience, supplier management, and quality control.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering such as Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing/Systems, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience with mechanical enclosures, castings, plastic parts, injection molding, stamping, tooling, jigs, fixtures, or automotive high volume quality manufacturing engineering.
- Ability to travel internationally to supplier sites up to 30%.
- International experience, particularly in Asia, is a plus.
