We are seeking an experienced engineer to develop methodologies for characterizing the mechanical and thermal performance of battery materials, components, and cells.
Key Responsibilities:Develop test methodologies to characterize mechanical and thermal performance of battery materials, components, and cells
Design test protocols and standards for battery-level performance evaluation
Work with 3rd party labs to address testing gaps and bring up to testing methods
Collaborate with testing technicians to ensure proper execution of test plans
Analyze and report on test results to inform engineering decisions
MandatorySkills:
MS in Mechanical Eng or related with 3 years experience or BS with 5+ years
Demonstrated experience developing methodologies for mechanical and thermal characterization of battery materials/components/cells
Strong background in battery testing standards and best practices
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.98/hour - $57.79/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
