SSD Mfg NPI Product Engineer, Nitro SSD

The Manufacturing Engineer role at Amazon Web Services focuses on enhancing the quality and efficiency of solid-state drive products within a dynamic international manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and production of AWS-specific hardware and lead efforts in manufacturing optimization.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with storage drives, server platforms, or high-tech hardware.
• 2+ years of product development experience.
• 2+ years of statistical analysis and reliability testing experience.
• Experience with failure analysis techniques and driving root cause analysis.
• Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience working with device technologies under development.
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
• Experience with project management of technical projects.
