Customer Service Rep
Overview
Blackstone Consulting, Inc. is seeking individuals who are customer service driven and have good people skills. The ideal candidate is well organized, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in their work. This is a three‑month temporary role with potential for extension, requiring a full‑time float receptionist to support multiple campus locations.
Key Criteria- Excellent written, technical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Calendar, Mail, and other OSX based office systems is a plus
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group
- Ability to prioritize conflicting tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional composure at all times
- Effective time management including the ability to multi‑task, organize, and prioritize
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to receive and provide feedback when necessary
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships
- Ability to influence others, handle conflict appropriately, know when to elevate issues, and apply common sense
- Flexibility with last‑minute schedule changes
- Valid driver’s license required – clean driving record subject to DMV and background check
- Reliable mode of transportation, as you may need to drive mid‑day to another location
- Greet employees and guests, ensuring they are comfortable and connected with their correct host
- Notify host of guest arrival in a timely manner
- Maintain a guest log and issue badges when necessary
- Use sound judgment to manage tasks efficiently
- Perform data entry as required
- Monitor and maintain all working area conditions and equipment for cleanliness, proper maintenance, and safety
- Handle guest complaints or disputes following procedures
- File, sort, and distribute mail and complete additional projects as needed
- Apply job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks
- Monitor office supplies and order new furniture and electronics as required
- Walk and escort guests to various buildings on campus
- Work on semi‑routine assignments, recognizing occasional deviations from accepted practice
- Assist with any other projects or tasks that may be requested
- Operate telephone systems to answer and route incoming calls, provide information, and assist with special requests
- Provide high‑level customer service to executive‑level clientele to ensure efficient operations
- Create engaging learning experiences, develop and deliver training materials, assess learner progress, and foster a positive learning environment
- Provide safe and efficient transportation by driving mobility club carts for individuals with varying needs, including accessibility needs, and VIP and tour transportation within the campus
Associate’s degree preferred, but not required.
Job Type and ScheduleFull‑time, 8‑hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, No holidays, Temporary.
