Corporate Finance, Financial Analyst
We are seeking an associate who will be a core member of our world‑class Corporate Development team responsible for Apple's acquisitions, investments and partnerships, and other complex strategic analysis for Apple senior leadership.
Responsibilities- Evaluate acquisition opportunities and lead cross‑functional M&A deal teams including senior members of engineering, operations, finance, marketing and legal.
- Be responsible for all aspects of M&A execution including negotiation, documentation, diligence and integration planning.
- Research and analyze industries, companies, technology segments and business models; evaluate the merits of complex alternatives and present findings to Apple leadership.
- Analyze potential strategic investments and support existing investments.
- Directly handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Be onsite; this role is an in‑person, onsite position, with up to 10% travel (domestic and international).
- Innate curiosity as it relates to consumer technology and Apple.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Confidence and poise in presenting to executive management.
- Extraordinary focus on detail and producing accurate and quality work.
- Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance theory and valuation methodologies.
- Integrity and reliability with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 1-3 years experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital or management consulting.
- Proven proficiency in Excel and strong financial modeling skills.
- Proven ability to lead and drive complex projects/analyses.
Base pay range: $149,700 – $225,600, variable on skills, qualifications, experience and location.
