About the Role

This position is employed by AL Homes Inc. , a brand of AlphaX RE Capital. We are seeking a Human Resources Manager
who will be responsible for overseeing the company’s human resources operations, ensuring the effective delivery of talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, compliance, and employee development programs. This role partners with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and solutions-oriented HR professional with strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. The successful candidate has experience supporting a fast-paced organization, preferably within the residential homebuilding, construction, or real estate development industry, and is committed to creating a compliant, engaging, and employee-focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities Human Resources Operations
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of HR operations, ensuring efficient execution of HR policies, procedures, and employee programs.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee transitions, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, SOPs, and best practices that support organizational objectives.
  • Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports to support workforce planning and executive decision-making.
Talent Acquisition & Employee Development
  • Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate selection, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Support employee training, career development, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate performance review processes and partner with managers to establish employee development goals.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives that strengthen company culture, retention, and professional growth.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and HR policies.
  • Investigate employee complaints, workplace conflicts, and policy violations while ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
  • Support managers in addressing performance concerns through corrective action plans and ongoing coaching.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture that encourages collaboration and accountability.
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs in partnership with Payroll and Finance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including California labor regulations where applicable.
