IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst
About the role
As a Software Quality Analyst, you will make an impact by ensuring high quality software and hardware performance across Apple OS platforms and devices. You will be a valued member of the QA team and work collaboratively with engineers, testers, and cross functional partners to identify defects, improve product stability, and support high quality releases.
In this role, you will- Perform test planning, test case development, and test execution (manual and automated)
- Conduct testing on Apple OS platforms and hardware
- Analyze test failures and file detailed defect reports
- Escalate and report key quality issues, driving them to timely resolution
- Provide regular updates and submit reports related to your workstream

Whatyou need to have to be considered
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Quality Analyst or in a related role
- Experience in test planning, test design, authoring, and execution
- Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, recognize issue patterns, troubleshoot scenarios, and compile detailed reports
- Experience testing mobile devices, hardware, home technologies, and Bluetooth accessories
- Strong communication skills
- Hands on experience testing in Apple environments
- Strong documentation and reporting ability
- Familiarity with automated testing tools or frameworks
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

Salary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $53,477 – $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
