Overview
This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Santa Clara Valley, California.
Summary This role supports a global learning and development organization by maintaining an existing learning platform while leading the project execution for the migration and rollout of a new Learning Management System (LMS). The position plays a critical role in ensuring platform stability, driving cross-functional collaboration, and supporting large-scale learning experiences for a global retail audience.
Qualifications- 3–5+ years of experience in digital project management, platform operations, or learning technology
- Passion for learning platforms and digital enablement with a strong foundation in project execution and operational support
- Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS), Content Management Systems (CMS), and project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar platforms
- Familiar with platform migrations, system rollouts, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional partners including technical teams, creative partners, and operational stakeholders
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable to changing timelines, requirements, and levels of ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Detail-oriented with a strong quality mindset and a proactive, collaborative working style
In this role, you will support both the operational maintenance of an existing learning platform and the tactical execution of a new LMS migration. You will partner closely with platform leadership to manage timelines, document requirements, and ensure the new system is thoroughly tested prior to launch.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, creative, and global partners to coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), track defects, validate fixes, and maintain detailed documentation such as platform playbooks, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures.
You will also serve as a primary point of contact for platform escalations, support content creators by troubleshooting publishing issues, manage day-to-day publishing workflows, and analyze platform usage metrics to report on system health and performance.
Education And Experience- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Background in project management, learning technology, platform operations, or digital content systems
- Experience supporting large-scale learning platforms or enterprise systems preferred
This opportunity is located in Santa Clara Valley, California and requires hybrid work.
The pay for this W-2 position is $70.15 per hour.
