As part of our World Wide Sales Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team, the Data Analyst will be responsible for handling data initiatives that enable the business to drive sales, improve customer experience, and innovate the way we lead and support one of the largest channel operations in the world.

These data initiatives are typically related to new technical capabilities or to transformation of business processes that support continuously evolving sales motions, growing Geo coverage and routes-to-market. You will implement key initiatives that support a broad, cohesive sales solution strategy. This will be a part of our WW Sales BPR Enablement & Transformation team within the Data & Reporting work stream.

In this position, you will use your deep understanding of data (attributes, measures, KPIs) in handling and measuring sales processes. You will partner with peers and global multi-functional partners on data and reporting requirements to support build, test, and deploy functional and reporting solutions that improve strategic and operational decision making capability, build customer satisfaction, drive revenue, and/or improve efficiency for the sales organization.

This position is based on-site at our Apple campus in Cupertino, CA.

In this role, you will:

Minimum Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of experience in data analysis or similar role, driving large scale complex business process/technology transformation initiatives and handling large-scale data systems.
• Expert-level SQL skills with experience in relational databases, and expertise in data visualization and BI tools like Tableau, Business Objects, and Thought Spot.
• Strong business analysis skills, including gathering and documenting data requirements, understanding business needs and trade-offs, conducting interviews and workshops, harmonizing requirements, proposing solutions, and analyzing source systems, data profiling, and KPI definitions.
• Experience in maintaining data definitions, data quality rules, data lineage, and data dictionary.
• Experience in data governance and data quality improvement, including working with tools like Informatica and Collibra.
• Proven experience handling complex data projects, collaborating with global teams, and delivering engaging presentations to partners at all levels.
• Development experience in at least one object oriented language (Python, Java, etc).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
