Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer III for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA
. The ideal candidates will manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
Rate Range: $85/hour to $89/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, implementing configuration updates, improvements, and regular operational maintenance.
- Perform cloud infrastructure tasks across AWS services, including DNS, load balancing, ingress, telemetry, and logging.
- Execute SQL database administration duties such as migrations, performance monitoring, telemetry instrumentation, and cost optimization.
- Develop automation using Python and Bash to support infrastructure reliability and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to CI/CD initiatives by implementing Git Ops workflows and enhancing software lifecycle tooling and processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based service infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and operational stability.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, and database administration.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Git Ops tools (Helm, ArgoCD), and Python/Bash scripting.
- Proven experience administering SQL databases (Postgres/RDS/Aurora) with skills in migrations, performance monitoring, and cost optimization.

Pay Details: $85.00 to $89.00 per hour
