Data

Solutions & Initiatives (DSI)

At Data Solutions & Initiatives (DSI), we operate under the Worldwide Sales Organization, dedicated to creating cutting‑edge tools that enhance and empower our sales teams. We are looking for a technology forward Product Designer who thrives in technical complexity. In this role, you will own the end‑to‑end design of complex data products—from ambiguous problem framing to high‑fidelity execution.

Description

As a DSI Product Designer, you won’t just hand off mockups; you will prototype with code, facilitate strategic workshops, and design the 'why' behind our AI empowered tools. You will serve as a bridge between complex financial algorithms and intuitive user experiences, mentoring colleagues and driving product vision with minimal guidance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Drive Clarity in Ambiguity:
Independently break down open‑ended business problems (e.g., predictive sales modeling) into actionable design strategies without waiting for detailed requirements.
  • Rapid Prototyping (Code + AI):
Move beyond static mocks. Build functional prototypes using HTML/CSS/React to test interaction logic and technical feasibility before engineering handoff.
  • AI‑Augmented Workflows:
Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, synthesize research, and generate rapid variants to speed up the design cycle.
  • Model Explainability (XAI):
Design transparent interfaces that explain how and why AI models make specific predictions, ensuring users trust the data.
  • Facilitate Alignment:
Lead cross‑functional workshops (Design Sprints, brainstorming) to align Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Engineers on shared goals.
  • System Stewardship:
Actively maintain and evolve our Design System, establishing tokens and patterns that ensure consistency across our suite of tools.
  • Influence & Mentorship:
Mentor junior designers through critiques and pair design sessions, and articulate the 'why' behind design decisions to business stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Design or UX, with a portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end ownership of complex applications (dashboarding, fintech, or enterprise tools).
  • Code Literacy:
Proficiency in HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript/React. You must be comfortable building prototypes in the browser.
  • AI Integration:
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for prompting, synthesis, or asset generation.
  • Strategic Facilitation:
Proven experience leading workshops and synthesizing research into decisions and flows.
  • Design Systems:
Experience maintaining component libraries and understanding how to scale design patterns.
  • Data Fluency:
Ability to use metrics, EDA, heatmaps, and A/B tests to support design logic.
  • Communication:
Strong storytelling skills; ability to explain complex design choices to non‑designers and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A passion for Financial Technology (Fintech) or Enterprise Data Solutions.
  • Experience designing for 'Explainable AI' or predictive data models.
  • Grit and autonomy:
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where requirements shift.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
