Technical Program Manager, Marketing Technology (Mar Tech) About the Role
We are seeking a creative, innovative, and driven Mar Tech Program Manager to join our client’s Services Marketing Technology team. In this role, you will sit at the perfect intersection of product, engineering, and marketing. Our client’s team builds bespoke, proprietary platforms and automated marketing tools—similar to internal website builders and creative automation systems—that allow our global marketing teams to launch campaigns rapidly.
This is a highly collaborative, highly visible role that requires a “front-stage” personality. You will act as the vital bridge translating technical engineering milestones into business/marketing impacts, and vice versa. Remote M/F - Pay Comments: W2, weekly pay, benefits, 401k with match
- Pay rate for Culver City: $91.00/hour (max hourly rate)
- Pay rate for Cupertino: $92.00/hour (max hourly rate)

- Stakeholder & LOB Leadership:
Manage end-to-end relationships and project workflows for multiple internal Lines of Business (LOBs), ensuring their marketing goals are successfully supported by our technology platforms. - Project Lifecycle Management:
Drive project intake, planning, and execution. Build comprehensive project plans from ideation and requirements gathering through to testing, troubleshooting, and go-to-market. - Roadmap
Collaboration:
Lead prioritization conversations with product owners and stakeholders to help define the future feature sets and roadmaps of our internal marketing tools. - Technical Translation:
Act as a communication liaison between technical development teams and non-technical business partners. Translate complex analytical or technical blockers into plain business terms. - Storytelling & Reporting:
Provide consistent documentation, track project budgets/burn rates, and confidently present project milestones, risks, and strategic ideas to cross-functional leadership. - Campaign & Layout Support:
Manage incoming requests for offer campaigns, web landing pages, and template development, ensuring design files align smoothly with our creative automation tools.
- Experience:
5-7+ years of experience in Program/Project Management specifically within Mar Tech, Product Marketing, or Digital Marketing environments. - The Hybrid Edge:
Demonstrated experience working directly with product and engineering teams to influence product roadmaps or build out internal marketing/CMS tools. - Methodologies:
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management techniques, including Agile, sprints, and Waterfall. - Technical Aptitude:
Comfortable working alongside engineers and understanding their technical workflows. Basic HTML knowledge (e.g., capability to handle minor copy/styling updates on web tools) is highly preferred. - Tools:
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, or similar enterprise workflow management systems. - Superb Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing diverse stakeholder personalities and presenting concepts clearly to leadership.
- BA/BS Degree.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent project management credentials.
- Hands‑on familiarity with popular external web‑building platforms (e.g., Squarespace or similar Content Management Systems).
- Comfort with creative assets, digital image/video file formats, or design tools (e.g., Sketch, Photoshop/Adobe Creative Cloud).
- An understanding of analytical tools, SEO, and digital accessibility standards.
