Java/Python/ Testing Automation Engineers
Location Cupertino, CA (Onsite - 5 days/week)
About the Role
This is a highly impactful role where you will work on end-to-end testing across devices, backend services, data pipelines, and UI systems. You'll be responsible for validating complex workflows and ensuring system reliability across multiple layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute E2E testing across devices, backend systems, and data pipelines
- Validate new device features and backend platform changes
- Develop and maintain automation test scenarios
- Perform root cause analysis and debug issues across distributed systems
- Analyze logs and telemetry to identify system failures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide detailed defect reports
- 6+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java
- Experience with device automation frameworks (XCUI preferred)
- Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, and integrations
- Experience with E2E/system-level testing
- Knowledge of SQL and database connectivity
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Kafka, Spark is a plus
- Strong debugging and independent issue triaging skills
