The Responsible AI Team serves as the central steward of product safety for these features, setting policy and partnering across engineering teams to ensure every experience aligns with values around quality, safety, fairness, inclusion, and privacy.

As a Data Scientist at Apple, you will apply product data science techniques to evaluate and safeguard the safety of generative AI features from early development through to production release. You will design and interpret experiments including A/B tests using real-world usage data to ground safety evaluations and monitor mitigations in production. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally to characterize risks, communicate insights clearly to technical and executive audiences, and shape how safety is experienced at massive scale.
