Job Description
We are looking for an experienced AI Product Manager with strong expertise in Databricks and Snowflake platforms to define and deliver AI‑driven and agentic capabilities across enterprise data governance platforms. This role focuses on platform‑native AI, governance automation, intelligent workflows, and strong data foundations, enabling scalable governance and improved data usability.
What You’ll Do- Define and execute the roadmap for AI‑enabled governance capabilities across Databricks and Snowflake platforms.
- Identify and deliver high‑impact use cases, including automated governance onboarding and assessments, metadata enrichment, classification, and tagging, lineage insights and recommendations, workflow automation and policy enforcement.
- Design agentic workflows that automate governance processes across data products and leverage platform‑native capabilities in Databricks (Unity Catalog, Agent Bricks, Genie, AI/ML capabilities) and Snowflake (Horizon, Open Catalog, Cortex AI capabilities including Cortex, Coco app, and application‑based governance workflows).
- Define requirements for LLM‑powered features such as search, recommendations, metadata interpretation and RAG‑based discovery and knowledge experiences.
- Partner with engineering and platform teams to translate product needs into scalable solutions, define success metrics (accuracy, adoption, cost, performance), and improve user experience through simplified governance workflows, embedded AI capabilities, and intuitive discovery and access experiences.
- Manage and scale a governance product delivery team and collaborate with engineering, enterprise data office, business, and domain teams to deliver governance outcomes.
- 8–12+ years of product management, data platforms, or AI‑driven product experience.
- Strong experience with Databricks (Unity Catalog, pipelines, governance) or Snowflake (Horizon, Open Catalog, data sharing, governance).
- Working knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data structures.
- Experience building AI‑enabled platform features, including workflow automation, metadata or governance automation, LLM or AI‑driven capabilities.
- Strong understanding of data governance concepts, metadata, lineage, access controls, data structures, and semantic consistency.
- Experience defining product roadmaps, use‑case prioritization, success metrics, and adoption goals.
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver production solutions.
- Experience with governance platforms and platform‑native AI/agentic capabilities such as Collibra, Databricks Unity Catalog, Snowflake Horizon/Open Catalog, and AI tooling like Agent Bricks or Cortex.
- Design agentic workflows or multi‑step automation and AI‑driven governance or data platform capabilities.
- Familiarity with API‑driven integrations, metadata‑driven automation, and federated or open catalog frameworks.
- Experience building AI‑driven governance or workflow solutions.
- Experience with data product or data marketplace models.
- Governance automation frameworks.
- Evaluating AI systems for accuracy, latency, cost, and usability.
- Experience in MDM or regulated environments.
- Deliver AI‑powered features that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
- Enable scalable, automated governance workflows across data governance platforms.
- Build products that are intuitive, reliable, and production‑ready.
- Ask “why” before “how” and navigate between strategic and technical perspectives.
- Prioritize ruthlessly and measure success by outcomes, not output.
- Tell compelling data stories to leadership and exemplify AI’s potential to transform data governance.
- Operate as a strong partner across business and engineering teams.
- Healthcare (medical, dental, vision)
- Basic term and optional term life insurance
- Short‑term and long‑term disability; pregnancy disability and parental leave
- 401(k) and employer‑funded retirement plan
- Paid vacation (two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure)
- Up to 11 paid holiday opportunities
- Adoption assistance
- Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law
