Senior Technical Product Manager - Data Governance Technology Platform Lead

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

• Define and execute the roadmap for AI-enabled governance and data governance platform capabilities
• Identify and deliver high-impact use cases, including:
  • Automated onboarding
  • Metadata enrichment and classification
  • Workflow automation and policy enforcement
  • Data discovery and recommendations
• Design agentic workflows that:
  • Automate multi-step governance processes
  • Integrate across platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Collibra, Glue)
• Define requirements for:
  • LLM-powered features (search, recommendations, metadata interpretation)
  • RAG-based knowledge and discovery experiences
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to:
  • Translate product needs into technical solutions
  • Define success metrics (accuracy, adoption, efficiency, cost)
  • Improve user experience and adoption through:
    • Simplified workflows
    • Embedded AI capabilities
    • Intuitive data discovery
• Manage and scale a governance product delivery team
• Partner with engineering, enterprise data office, business, and domain teams to deliver governance outcomes

• 8–12+ years in product management, data governance platforms, or AI-driven products
• Experience building or scaling data governance platform products
• Strong product management skills:
  • Roadmap definition
  • Prioritization
  • Stakeholder alignment
• Experience working with:
  • AI/ML or LLM-based systems
  • Data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
  • Metadata, governance, or workflow-driven systems
• Ability to:
  • Define AI use cases and product requirements
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver solutions

• Experience working with governance platforms and platform-native AI / agentic capabilities, including:
  • Collibra (control plane, metadata, policy management)
  • Databricks Unity Catalog (lineage, access control, governance)
  • Snowflake Horizon / Open Catalog (governance, sharing, discovery)
• Platform AI and agentic tooling:
  • Databricks AI capabilities (e.g., Agent Bricks, ML/LLM integrations, workflow automation)
  • Snowflake AI capabilities (e.g., Cortex, AI/ML services, automation frameworks)
• Open and interoperability frameworks:
  • Open Catalog / federated catalog approaches
  • API-driven integration across platforms
  • Metadata-driven and automation-driven governance
• Experience with:
  • Data lineage, metadata, or quality frameworks
  • APIs and platform integrations
  • RAG architectures
  • Agentic workflows or orchestration patterns
  • Financial services or regulated environments (experience in MDM)

• Deliver AI-powered features that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
• Enable scalable, automated governance workflows across data governance platforms
• Build products that are intuitive, reliable, and production-ready
• Ask “why” before “how” and can zoom in and out between strategic and technical perspectives
• Prioritize ruthlessly and measure success in terms of outcomes, not output
• Tell a compelling data story to leadership & be an example of the potential of AI to transform data governance
• Operate as a strong partner across business and engineering
