Data/Analytics Project Manager
Location: Cupertino, CA, USA (Onsite)
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Data/Analytics Project Manager to lead enterprise data initiatives, including data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and database modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex technical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery while maintaining data quality, governance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Data & Analytics projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Develop and manage project roadmaps for data pipelines, AI/ML initiatives, analytics platforms, and database migrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical execution plans.
- Coordinate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects, Developers, and QA teams.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage project resources, priorities, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure data governance, data quality, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Track project KPIs and performance metrics to measure business value and project success.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, status meetings, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and delivery methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing enterprise Data & Analytics projects.
- Strong understanding of data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, analytics platforms, and AI/ML concepts.
- Experience managing database migration or cloud data transformation projects.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certification.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with data governance, data privacy, GDPR, HIPAA, or similar compliance standards.
- Experience supporting AI/ML, Business Intelligence, or enterprise analytics initiatives.
