As a part of our Legal team, you’ll help uphold Apple’s high ethical and corporate standards, defend our intellectual property, and provide legal support for our global products and services. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting and advising the Apple Find My team on a wide variety of matters, including commercial transactions, regulatory issues, and product development. The ideal candidate will bring experience in the areas of licensing, intellectual property law, and product advising. This position requires excellent communication, analytical, legal research, negotiation and drafting skills, the ability to work well with cross‑functional teams, and great interpersonal skills.
Successful candidates will embrace the challenge of solving complex issues and conflicting interests in creative and efficient ways and will navigate cross‑functional collaboration with both legal and business colleagues.
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience advising on technology product‑related issues and negotiating and drafting technology transactions.
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
- Creative problem‑solver with the business acumen to resolve complex issues in creative and efficient ways and give practical product advice.
- Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, excellent time management and organizational skills, comfortable with healthy debate, and able to handle a variety of matters at once in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaborate across teams and geographies.
- Ability to see beyond the detailed question asked to the larger issue and future implications.
- Experience with international legal and regulatory compliance, privacy, regulatory, and open data and open source issues is desirable.
- Self‑starter who is curious, embraces technology, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $230,500 and $346,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
