AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
Responsibilities- Create and execute supply planning strategies to meet the category, department, project, and customer needs.
- Prioritize activities and align with stakeholders to deliver supply globally with a high degree of predictability.
- Manage supplier relationships and allocation of material to demands based on priority.
- Be a subject matter expert for the customers, technologies, and markets in which you engage.
- Manage cross‑functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals.
- Identify and drive realization of opportunities for durable, relative advantage in your category.
- Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply‑base opportunities to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize industry developments that benefit Amazon.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to leverage and consolidate the supply base using system‑level tools and techniques.
- Understand forecasting, demand planning, material/supply/inventory planning, and manufacturing processes/capacity to verify supply commitments.
- Manage supply buffers and allocation to shorten lead times and build resiliency into the supply chain without driving excess.
- Drive supplier improvement initiatives to continually lower risk and reduce lead times.
- Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations.
- Create and send monthly forecasts, and measure supplier commitments against demand.
As a Global Supply Manager, you will be part of a three‑pillar category team (Sourcing, Supply Chain, PLM) that will own end‑to‑end management of a specific category of networking hardware. You will participate in technical engineering reviews, collaborate on inventory and supply strategies, and advise on supply‑chain objectives. Your role is fundamental to the optimal product management of cloud networking hardware.
BasicQualifications
- 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration, or operations experience.
- 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python.
- Experience in global supply chain management and managing cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced consumer electronics product company.
- 4+ years of program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.

The base salary range for this position is 87,400.00 – annually (USA, CA, Cupertino). Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
