Position: Housekeeper / Laundry Aide

Base Pay Range

$22.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Pay Range: $22.00-$24.00

Schedule: AM Thursday – Monday (Tuesday & Wednesday off);
Thursday‑Friday‑Saturday 7:30am‑4pm;
Sunday & Monday 6:30am‑3:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Establish neat and clean appearance of resident rooms and common areas under direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Provide quality customer service to residents, families, co‑workers and vendors.
  • Dust furniture; wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows and door panels; sweep, scrub and wax floors.
  • Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies and hallways.
  • Empty wastebaskets, ashtrays and transport trash to disposal area.
  • Clean lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways and hallways on schedule.
  • Report repairs needed and complete maintenance or housekeeping orders.
  • Assist with laundry and linens: transport, sorting, washing, ironing, folding and delivering.
  • Perform final cleanings for new residents.
  • Maintain laundry machinery and area cleanliness.
  • Handle emergency housekeeping when accidents or special needs arise.
  • Follow safety standards, procedures, PPE usage and report hazards.
  • Attend mandatory in‑service meetings and comply with policies.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience in housekeeping or related field.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
