Our sales team, is in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers. The WW Channel Strategy & Operations (CSO) NPI team is looking for a strategic forecasting and execution lead to drive the global deployment of Merchandising and Security elements. In this role, you will own the operational readiness for the critical merchandising elements that enable our products to be displayed around the world.

You will sit at the center of the operation, bridging the gap between supply availability and global channel demand, ensuring that our partners have the necessary elements to deliver a world-class customer experience on launch day.

Description

As the NPI Merchandising Operations Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end planning and distribution of security and merchandising assets. You ensure that the supply chain execution aligns with the product launch strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Global Allocation & Planning:
    Partner with WW CSO Planning teams to determine demand requirements. Develop and execute allocation plans to distribute limited supply of security and merchandising elements across global regions based on launch priorities.
  • Deployment Execution:
    Oversee the global logistics flow of merchandising assets. Manage the movement of inventory from manufacturing hand-off to regional distribution centers and channel partners, ensuring in-store dates are met.
  • Risk Management:

    Proactively identify downstream supply chain risks (e.g., freight capacity, customs delays, warehouse bottlenecks) and develop mitigation strategies to protect the launch timeline.
  • Vendor & Logistics Management:
    Drive performance with logistics providers and fulfillment vendors. Ensure execution of pick, pack, and ship operations meets NPI quality and timeline standards.
  • Launch Readiness:
    Lead readiness reviews and forums prior to and during the launch window. Serve as the single source of truth for the location and status of all merchandising and security inventory.
  • Process Improvement:
    Analyze operational performance post-launch to identify opportunities for efficiency gains in the planning and distribution process.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics Operations, or NPI Program Management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model complex distribution plans. Mastery of Excel is required to manage global allocations and inventory tracking.
  • Proven ability to manage the planning and deployment of physical assets across a global network, working with OEMs and fulfillment partners to meet strict deadlines.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of identifying critical path risks and driving cross-functional teams toward a common launch date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics Operations, or NPI Program Management.
  • Excellent communication skills to synthesize complex logistics data into clear readiness updates for leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where launch scenarios may change rapidly.
  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
