Engineering Program Manager

AAC Technologies is looking for an experienced and energetic program manager to join the company’s talented and growing team in Cupertino. The candidate will build strong customer relationships through dedicated customer service, program management experience, and new product development knowledge. The candidate will become the voice of the customer and work closely with the company’s global engineering and management teams to bring new products from design concept to mass production for ultimate customer success.

• Develop and track the overall project schedule; define project scope & oversee schedule management.
• Oversee and track build schedules from the customers and communicate with the factory to ensure all projects are launched on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and manage the NPI development project process and mobilize relevant resources to meet project needs.
• Collaborate with internal program managers to capitalize on new business opportunities to increase revenue and enchance relationships with customer GSM and engineering teams.
• Be the main point of contact with customer for all commercial topics related to NPI builds, including quotes, purchase orders, invoices, sample deliveries, build schedules, and other key milestones.
• Liaison with the cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product launches and root-cause resolutions.
• Align with customers’ global supply team for price and delivery considerations of multiple programs.
• Take ownership to see project success, even without direct or ultimate authority.
• Coordinate and support customer visits to the AAC factory and ensure all discussion topics are covered efficiently and effectively.
• Travel internationally to assist with customer visits.
• Represent a professional image of the company and become trusted advisor for customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; MBA and/or Six Sigma certification a plus.
• Total work experience: 5+ years.
• Direct work experience in consumer electronics or technology: 2+ years.
• Program management experience: 3+ years.
• Ability to understand complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Computer literate, especially with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Exceptional organizational skills and seamless ability to multi-task
• Comfortable in communicating with all levels of employees and management.
• Strong negotiation skills with basic understanding of costing process.
• Talented communication skills to understand how to craft and deliver your message to achieve the best desirable outcome.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing;
  Mandarin speaking a plus.
• Business experience in conducting business within China, Vietnam or India related to manufacturing operations.
