The iPhone Engineering Program Management Team is seeking a passionate and motivated System Engineering Program Specialist (EPS) who specializes in attention to detail and will oversee and assist in our iPhone budgets, finances, as well as support program logistics, allocations, and practice product security to the highest standard. A System EPS on our team must be an organized, detail-oriented collaborator with strong prioritization skills and excellent communication abilities.
They must be self-motivated and a fearless driver, ready to work with the Engineering Program Management team and multifunctional engineering teams to manage the risks and requirements associated with the success of each engineering program build. - Lead and manage iPhone budget planning and execution
- Work on multiple projects concurrently
- Partner with program managers, cross functional teams and finance to create and handle development budgets and procurement activities
- Create and track Purchase Requisition s and maintain Purchase Order invoice reconciliations
- Schedule and host reviews, and compile slides for executive leadership
- Provide and keep track of monthly/quarterly budget updates
- Support allocations, material schedules, deliverables, and logistics as needed
- Oversee Apple security and safety product requirements
- 4+ years related experience
- Experience with facilitating and tracking program budgets
- High attention to detail and proficient working with large data sets in Excel
- Minimum 2+ years of NPI program management experience related with program budgets, procurement, logistics, and overseas supplier/contract manufacturer management
- Ability to react to re-sets and changes in a time sensitive and fast pace environment
- Off-hour support required via email, phone or Web Ex as needed
- Proven track record of excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Finance, operations, or program management background
- Proficiency in R&D finance and key business concepts
- Proficient in Tableau
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large multi-functional team
- Willing to travel if needed
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $118,500 and $244,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
