We are seeking a Quality Engineer II to drive both manual and automated testing efforts across software applications and services. This role requires a strong experience in test automation using Python, experience validating complex systems, and the ability to independently investigate and resolve quality issues. Mobile testing experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities:

+ Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases

+ Develop and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts using Python

+ Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing

+ Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and drive issues to resolution

+ Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality

+ Support and improve CI/CD testing processes and automation pipelines

+ Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and quality documentation

+ Participate in release readiness and quality risk assessments

Required Qualifications:

+ 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or a related field

+ Strong experience with both manual and automated testing

+ Strong programming skills in Python

+ Experience testing APIs, web applications, and distributed systems

+

Experience with test automation frameworks and best practices

+ Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills

+ Understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC/STLC

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to independently manage testing activities and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Mobile application testing experience (iOS and/or Android) highly desired

+

Experience with mobile test automation frameworks

+

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools

+ Familiarity with Git, Linux/Unix environments, and shell scripting

+ Experience testing backend services and APIs

+ Knowledge of cloud technologies, databases, containerization, or related technologies

+ Experience working in Agile development environments

This is a Contract position based out of Cupertino, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
