Quality Engineer 1

We are seeking a Quality Engineer I to support both manual and automated testing efforts across software applications. The ideal candidate has experience in software testing, automation using Python, and a strong interest in mobile application testing.

Responsibilities:

+ Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality and performance

+ Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Python

+ Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects and test failures

+ Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues

+ Participate in regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities

+ Contribute to test planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or a related field

+

Experience with both manual and automated testing

+ Strong Python programming skills

+ Experience testing APIs and web applications

+ Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Mobile application testing experience (iOS and/or Android) strongly preferred

+

Experience with mobile test automation frameworks

+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools

+ Knowledge of Git and Linux/Unix environments

+ Experience troubleshooting issues across multiple systems and environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cupertino, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
