Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented Localization QA Specialist to help deliver high-quality localized products across 50+ languages and regions. This role will coordinate localization quality assurance efforts, conduct exploratory testing of localization tools, thoroughly document and track bugs, and collaborate closely with internal teams and international vendor testers.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in localization QA and software testing, with the ability to manage linguistic and technical issues across multiple territories. This person will play a critical role in ensuring localization projects stay on track, meet high-quality standards, and provide a seamless, consistent user experience across global markets.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate localization QA efforts across multiple languages, regions, and projects.
  • Conduct exploratory testing of localization tools and workflows to identify functionality, usability, and localization issues.
  • Perform thorough quality assurance testing and validate localized content across platforms and products.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs through resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and international vendor testers to investigate and resolve localization issues.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure localization deliverables remain on schedule.
  • Identify potential blockers and communicate risks or issues promptly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support localization project management activities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation related to testing, bugs, processes, and localization workflows.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, requirements, and project timelines.
Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of localization workflows, software QA, and online production processes.
  • Experience using and performing quality assurance on localization tools.
  • Strong foundation in exploratory testing methodologies.
  • Proven experience with localization testing, tools testing, detailed bug reporting, and/or localization project management.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and deliver multiple projects within tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to identify, prioritize, and communicate critical issues.
  • Ability to recognize and
    * escalate* blockers quickly.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively to changing priorities and complex situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Native-level proficiency in at least one language in addition to English.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience working with iOS and/or macOS platforms.
  • Familiarity with consumer technology products and services.
  • Experience working with international teams, external vendors, or globally distributed QA resources.
