- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for each customer and cultivate an inviting atmosphere.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, directing customers to products that will help their gardens succeed.
- Perform general retail tasks such as stocking materials, watering plants, answering phones, and keeping the area clean.
- Engage with customers to ensure they feel at home in the center and offer assistance with purchases.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support colleagues as needed.
- Ability to lift 20+ pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
- Plant knowledge or gardening experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team; foster an environment that supports learning, growth, and fun.
- Self-starter with dependability, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset.
This part-time position offers a flexible schedule with no late evenings. At least one weekend shift is required.
