Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer III for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA
. The ideal candidate must have strong experience designing scalable microservices and distributed data platforms.
$70/hour to 74/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Design and implement scalable, low-latency microservices for high-volume ad-serving systems in cloud environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support indexing, search, and real-time ad selection capabilities.
- Build secure, distributed data processing systems using technologies like Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
- Optimize system performance and reliability while ensuring user privacy and data integrity.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers in best practices and problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of industry experience in building scalable microservices or data-driven platforms.
- Proficiency in data processing technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
- Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
