Responsibilities- Own the full data lifecycle: raw sensor collection, automated processing, validation, curation, and delivery of clean, ML‑ready datasets.
- Collaborate closely with data collection engineers, ML researchers, and product teams.
- Make critical architectural decisions under real‑time pressure with incomplete information.
- Build systems that have never been built before and set a high engineering bar.
- Python
- AWS
- Image data handling
- Data validation
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in ML research where pipelines evolve rapidly.
- Familiarity with AWS‑based data storage and processing.
- Experience with remote compute environments where local storage is insufficient.
- Exposure to ML modeling concepts—experience with LLMs or ML model development is a strong plus.
- Experience working with external vendors for data collection or labeling.
- Strong communication skills to translate algorithm needs into executable data protocols.
Contract position based out of Cupertino, CA. Hybrid workplace.
Compensation and Benefits- Pay range: $75.00 – $80.00 per hour.
