Position Overview:

Software Dev Engineer II-TEST in Cupertino, California. 40 hours per week, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Salary range: $165,200 to $223,600 per year.

• Participate in the testing of large-scale systems, driving processes to reduce test‑automation maintenance and improve quality‑assurance procedures.
• Design, implement, document, and maintain test‑automation programs for large‑scale systems using Java or C++.
• Create software tools for build verification and regression tests.
• Design and automate test cases, including white‑box and black‑box tests, and develop supporting test tools.
• Participate in the product development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through design review and code review.
• Conduct regular regression tests to ensure production system performance.
• Collaborate with software engineers on technical issues related to complex, large‑scale systems.
• Provide advice and mentoring to junior team members.

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience in the relevant role may substitute for a bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience.
• One year of experience designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining test‑automation programs for large‑scale, distributed software systems or applications using Java, C++, or SQL.
