Senior Software Engineer, NetOS Fleet Health
AWS is looking for Senior Software Development Engineers (SDE) to help build and maintain new services and solutions that power the world's largest Cloud Network. Our customers demand the highest quality, reliability, and security for their services. As we expand at a tremendous rate, we are seeking brilliant and passionate SDEs to join our NetOS Fleet Health team.
Responsibilities- Design and develop software solutions for monitoring systems that operate at unprecedented scale with the highest reliability and security standards.
- Serve as a technical leader, diving deep to understand Amazon's network and service architecture, its operation, and security.
- Partner with network engineering, software and hardware team members, and other AWS service teams to develop software for our services.
- Develop software that allows monitoring of our networking devices.
- 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 8+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
- 8+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience coordinating complex products with stringent technical requirements, development cycles, and schedules.

The base salary range for this position is $ - $ USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
