Responsibilities- Designing and building iOS experiences that integrate Generative AI capabilities into Apple services
- Partnering with backend and ML teams to define APIs and client-server contracts that power intelligent features
- Rapidly prototyping new concepts to validate ideas and inform product direction
- Collaborating with Apple Design and cross-functional teams to deliver polished, intuitive user experiences
- Driving architectural decisions that balance performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Contributing to a culture of engineering excellence through code reviews, testing, and documentation
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of experience building production iOS applications using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Experience integrating client applications with RESTful APIs and cloud services
- Demonstrated ability to decompose complex features into well-scoped, shippable increments
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving product requirements
- Experience building features that leverage large language models or other generative AI technologies
- Deep familiarity with SwiftUI, Combine, and modern Swift concurrency (async/await, structured concurrency)
- Track record of shipping consumer-facing features within a large-scale services organization
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with experience partnering across engineering, design, and product teams
- Passion for crafting accessible, performant, and privacy-respecting user experiences
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
