We are building a Silicon Valley frontier autonomous-driving team for Neolix. As our Sim2

Real Engineer, you will build the training ground—using simulation and synthetic data to teach models to handle the real-world long tail. Your sharp focus will be on last-mile delivery scenarios that are difficult and expensive to collect on-road.

The highest-value long tail for us is at the "last meter": loading/unloading, precise curbside docking, navigating around pedestrians and pets, and handling flooded roads—exactly the scenarios our fleet has flagged as pain points.

• Build and Extend: Develop simulation environments utilizing CARLA, Isaac Sim, Gym, Mu Jo Co , Drake, Genesis, or in-house solutions.
• Create Pipelines: Build synthetic-data pipelines focusing on procedural scene generation, sensor simulation (camera/LiDAR/radar), and domain randomization.
• Drive Transfer: Lead sim2real transfer by understanding the sources of the reality gap, learning how to close it, and successfully taking sim-trained models to the real vehicle.
• Prioritize the Long-Tail: Focus heavily on last-mile delivery generation, including docking/unloading, curbside precision, vulnerable road users, and adverse conditions (e.g., standing water).

• Required Experience: You MUST have direct autonomous driving industry experience from top-tier AV programs (specifically Waymo, Cruise, Tesla, Zoox, or XPENG
  ).
• Simulation Mastery: Proven experience building or heavily utilizing a simulator (CARLA, Isaac Sim, Gym, Mu Jo Co , Drake, Genesis, or in-house).
• Data Pipelines: Deep understanding of synthetic-data pipelines (procedural scenes, sensor sim, domain randomization).

  Real Execution: Hands-on sim2real transfer experience (sim-trained → real robot/vehicle) with a clear, demonstrable grasp of reality-gap mitigation.
