Labview / Python Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced LabVIEW/Python Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain data acquisition software for Life Test Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and prototype test boards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LabVIEW, Python, DAQ systems, and display measurement/testing environments.

• Develop and maintain data acquisition software for Life Test SOPs and prototype test boards.
• Convert legacy LabVIEW-based tools and scripts to Python.
• Support and enhance display life test software for reliability testing.
• Modify and maintain display measurement station software.
• Interface with DAQ hardware to automate collection of electrical, optical, and environmental data.
• Validate, debug, and troubleshoot software in laboratory and device-testing environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, software configurations, and test procedures.
• Collaborate with hardware, reliability, and test engineering teams to meet project requirements.
• Support prototype display testing and reliability validation activities.

• Strong experience with LabVIEW and Python development.
• Experience with Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems and hardware interfacing.
• Knowledge of serial communication protocols.
• Experience with display measurement systems and test automation.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux command-line tools.
• Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with Signals and measurement systems.

• Experience with NI Test Stand.
• Knowledge of C/C++ for automation and integration.
• Experience with hardware validation, NPI, or manufacturing test systems.
• Familiarity with Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments.

• Successful delivery of data acquisition software for assigned Life Test projects.
• Effective migration of LabVIEW applications and tools to Python.
• Reliable software operation in laboratory and hardware test environments.
• High-quality documentation and adherence to software development standards.
