Staff Application Engineer – Cupertino, CA (Hybrid) – $135,000–$215,000

• 8+ years of embedded firmware or applications engineering experience with strong C/C++ skills
• Hands‑on, must‑have experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and exposure to Matter, Thread, Zigbee, Wi?
  
  Fi, or related wireless protocols
• Strong hardware debugging and embedded systems troubleshooting experience
• Customer‑facing technical communication skills with the ability to independently solve complex issues
• Work authorization:
  No current or future sponsorship available (client does not have resources to provide sponsorship)

• Develop, debug, and support embedded firmware for low?power wireless and IoT systems
• Work directly with customer engineering teams to support integrations and resolve firmware/hardware issues
• Create technical demos, application notes, and enablement materials
• Partner with global R&D teams and provide customer feedback to influence future SDK and firmware roadmaps

• High?visibility role tied to expansion of a Silicon Valley engineering presence
• Blend of hands?on firmware engineering and customer ownership
• Direct collaboration with European R&D teams in a flat, engineering?first culture

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $135,000–$215,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
