• Certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (or eligibility to obtain)

• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, general education teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred

• Provide direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, adapting curriculum based on individual IEPs
• Assess each students abilities and needs to provide differentiated instruction
• Offer consultation and support to classroom teachers and staff, ensuring inclusive and accessible learning environments
• Monitor student progress, document performance, and participate in IEP meetings
