CDL, Truck Driver
The Vacuum Truck Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Services provided include hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/material. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism and teamwork. Roll‑off and Hydrovac experience is a plus.
This position requires moderate out-of‑state travel, contingent upon project requirements. It also requires a willingness to travel for durations ranging from one week to one month at a time.

- Daily per diem when out of town is $178.
- Safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial setting, adhering to company policies, procedures, and on‑site requirements.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, professionally representing GFL, and maintain detailed, accurate company documentation.
- Complete daily equipment pre‑trips, driver logs for NSC compliance, and participate in safety programs such as meetings, near‑miss reporting, and job hazard assessments.
- Work independently, manage time and productivity efficiently, and communicate effectively.
- Valid CDL A and at least 1 year of industrial vacuum truck/tanker experience.
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
- Willingness to accept after‑hour calls when necessary, with some short‑term travel and overnight stays required.
- Valid safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, Construction Safety Training (CSTS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and H2S Alive are considered assets.
- Roll‑off and Hydrovac truck experience is a plus.
