Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intervention Specialist to join our elementary school team in a Multiple Disabilities (MD) classroom. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ohio teaching license with a Moderate to Intensive Intervention Specialist endorsement preferred. This position involves working collaboratively with staff to provide individualized instruction by creating a flexible program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with disabilities.

Qualifications:

* Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (Moderate/Intensive)

* Experience or strong interest in working with students with multiple disabilities

* Strong communication and collaboration skills

* Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs

* Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff

* Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed

* Provide direct instruction in academic, functional, and social-emotional skills

* Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
