We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated 5th grade teacher to join our upper elementary team. As a 5th grade educator, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through a crucial transitional year, helping them build academic confidence, independence, and critical thinking skills as they prepare for middle school. If you love fostering a curiosity for learning, creating an engaging and inclusive classroom culture, and helping students discover their unique potential, this is the perfect place for you.

Certification/

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field;
Must have appropriate, valid certification or license to teach the assigned content area as recognized by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, specifically Elementary (K-8, 4-5, or 1-8);
Thorough knowledge, understanding, and appreciation for the learning process and the nature and growth of children;
Ability to adapt knowledge of educational methodology and variety of instructional techniques for the benefit of students in the learning environment; competence in the structure and content of the subject area;
Ability to communicate with students and caregivers in the appropriate manner;
Must successfully complete a BCI and FBI background check as well as a drug screen.
