Machine Operator - Compounder

$18 and up (depending on specific position and shift)

Americhem manufactures and sells thermoplastic color compounds and is looking for Manufacturing Operators in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Operators will set up and compound formulations with approved raw material products in a safe and efficient manner according to specifications and procedures.

• Education:
  
  high school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Experience:
  
  1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred, not required.

• Follows all quality system and safety protocols by safely operating equipment, wearing proper protective equipment (PPE), completing safety training, keeping work areas clean and organized, and contributing to established safety goals.
• Effectively manages time and meets deadlines.
• Demonstrates organizational skills by working independently and with a team.
• Safely operates powered industrial vehicles and moves product to appropriate areas.
• Effectively operates and understands all required compounding equipment that includes blenders and scales.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead.
