Join a Leader in Precision Spindle RepairAre you an experienced Machine Tool Spindle Repair Technician with expertise in precision bearings, rotating equipment, machining, or grinding? We are seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and test high-speed machine tool spindles used in precision manufacturing.
This position reports directly to the General Facility Manager and offers long-term career growth with an established and expanding spindle repair company.
Primary Responsibilities- Diagnose, disassemble, inspect, and rebuild machine tool spindles.
- Install and set up super precision rolling element bearings
. - Perform spindle tear-downs, inspections, and failure analysis.
- Measure bearing fits, shaft tolerances, preload, and critical dimensions using precision measuring equipment.
- Repair or replace mechanical components including shafts, housings, bearing journals, and related spindle assemblies.
- Perform spindle balancing, runout checks, and performance testing.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, repair procedures, and technical specifications.
- Document repair findings and complete service reports.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment.
- Work closely with engineering and management to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience using micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
