Business Banker II

• Develop banking relationships across all business lines for the assigned market
• Develop new business and retain existing business through promotion of products and services
• Interview customers and prospective customers to assess business needs, abilities, and earnings
• Collect and analyze financial data for proper account structure
• Maintain an aggressive calling program for new and existing customers
• Assist Regional Managers in generating business
• Attend and participate in community affairs to promote the bank’s image
• Work closely with branch managers to develop new business
• Develop and maintain a referral network of attorneys, realtors, and other centers of influence
• Call on new prospects from bank referrals, courthouse lists, prospect referrals, and prospect lists
• Conduct business development activities to identify bank prospects
• Respond to customer questions and solve customer problems
• Maintain good working relationships with bank employees
• Assume additional responsibilities as required

• Four-year college degree or equivalent, plus specialized training
• Major or area of specialization in Finance/Accounting
• Minimum of five years specialized experience, specifically credit/lending
• Ability to operate keypad, electronic, and office equipment
• Ability to travel by car to see customers, inspect construction sites, land developments, and meet customers; travel out of state may be required
• Manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day
• Close vision of 18”-20” for computer work
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
