Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders and applicable laws;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, verify access permissions when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts;
Support healthcare operations by assisting with de-escalation, documenting incidents accurately, and coordinating with site leadership and/or first responders during emergencies
