Vibe Recruit is currently recruiting for Waiters/Waitresses to join a busy and welcoming events venue in the Cwmbran area.

The venue hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year, including weddings, funerals, golf events, baby showers and private functions, so this is a varied role where no two days are necessarily the same.

We are looking for experienced hospitality professionals who enjoy providing excellent customer service and working as part of a team.

The Role:

The role will predominantly involve waiting and event service, with some bar work also required. You will help ensure guests receive a friendly, professional and efficient service throughout their event.

Full-time

Approximately 35 hours per week

Monday to Sunday

Shifts between 10am and 10pm

Rotas provided one week in advance

Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the events hosted at the venue

Key Responsibilities:

Providing friendly and professional service to guests

Taking and serving food and drink orders

Setting up and clearing tables

Supporting weddings, funerals, golf events, baby showers and other functions

Carrying out some bar duties when required

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Working as part of a team to ensure events run smoothly

Providing excellent customer service at all times

Assisting with general event duties as required

Ideally, you will have around 2 years' experience in a waiting or hospitality role.

Previous events or functions experience would be advantageous.

You will need to be:

Friendly, approachable and professional

Confident dealing with customers

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable working in a busy events environment

A good team player

Flexible and willing to work different shifts

Able to remain calm and professional during busy periods

Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods

Ideally, you will have around 2 years' experience in a waiting or hospitality role.

Previous events or functions experience would be advantageous.

Due to the venue's location, applicants must have their own reliable transport and be able to travel to and from the venue independently.

What We Offer:

£12.71 per hour

Approximately 35 hours per week

Full-time hours
