Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Manage month end, quarter end, and year end close activities while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Oversee inventory accounting, cost accounting, and account reconciliations to support accurate financial results.

Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger records, and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.

Support audits, compliance activities, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany transaction reporting.

Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve processes, enhance reporting, and support business initiatives.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to general ledger and financial reporting functions.

Previous experience with inventory accounting, manufacturing cost accounting, and variance analysis.

Strong knowledge of month end close procedures, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other financial reporting tools.

Manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-intensive industry experience.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify process improvements.

Prior experience supporting external audits, compliance requirements, and financial control initiatives.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Self-motivated and detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
